Here's what we're looking for. 5 years of experience in NVOCC operation on a supervisory or managerial level. Transportation background to include: experience with ocean/air Import and export. A bachelor's Degree is a plus. Have an in-depth knowledge of AIR/ OCEAN for both import and export operations. Must be computer literate with experience in Outlook, Excel, Word, and online shipping applications. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at any one time, deal with stress, and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to check and reply emails in evenings or as needed. Team player, consistent in job performance, and can work well under pressure. Responsibilities: Accurately and quickly prepare arrival notices and other shipping related documents. Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations. Oversee and complete accurate billing to clients based on pricing established with the clients while ensuring accurate costs and profits are maintained. Oversee the pick-up and transfer of shipments with our various offices and partners. Establish and maintain all necessary procedures to assure a clean, properly organized, safe and healthy environment for all personnel. Establish knowledge of Incoterms and commercial invoice requirements. Manage other operations staff. Help assist with P & L's. Generate reports for the clients. Help assist and prepare quotations to the customers. Regularly check and evaluate our vendors' fees. Assist with bookings. Why This Opportunity?
