Start Date: Immediate Job Description: Major Tasks and Responsibilities of Position: * Performs day-to-day Logistics Operations which includes the accountability for the planning and scheduling of transportation equipment and finished goods inventory in support of the business demand utilizing various reporting databases; SAP, Scale Soft, Lab Manager, and SHIPCSX rail management systems in the successful completion of the job functions. * Works with Plant Production personnel and Plant Operators * Effective communication with Truck Carriers and CSX Railroad staff * Adhere to shipping requirements with Distribution, R&D and Laboratory * Recommend transportation changes to accommodate customer requirements * Data entry into computer-based information systems * Post Goods Invoice (PGI) Truck and Railcar Shipments * Schedule and prepare Truck and Railcar shipment document packages * Acts as back-up for truck and railcar coordinator during staff vacations * Maintain Office Supplies and Materials * General office supplies * Material and Product Tags Qualification: * Minimum requirement HS diploma with some work experience preferably plant and/or logistics related.
