Small Boat Operator/Mechanic

Responsibilities: * Lead and assist in boat operations, navigation in and out of harbors and shipyards. * Ability to maneuver small boats to dock and undock, to come along side other vessels. * Shipboard support to include knowledge of launching and recovery of small boats. (17'-28') * Position will be a part of an established Marine Operations division that supports oil spill response, oil containment boom deployment, and line handling. * Assist in other non-small boat operations on occasion, including but not limited to, general automotive mechanic tasks, vacuum truck logistics, sewer/drain cleaning. * Candidate can expect to be trained in functions beyond normal operations. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Trade school training a plus. * U.S. Citizenship required. * Possess valid state driver's license, Commercial Driver License is a plus. * Must be able to obtain TWIC and DBIDS badges. * Good oral and written communication skills. * Minimum of 1 year general mechanical and/or boat operations experience. * Experience with driving pickup trucks with trailers on the road and in enclosed or limited spaces. * Flexibility on hours/schedule due to customers' requirements. Working Conditions: * Full-Time Position, with excellent benefit packages available. * Accurate Marine Environmental is a 24/7 Oil Spill Response Organization.
