Sr. Trucking Operation Specialist

Responsibilities-Manage full-cycle domestic trucking operations, including FTL and LTL shipments, from load planning through final delivery and settlement.-Coordinate with warehouses and customers to ensure accurate freight pickup, delivery scheduling, and dock appointments.-Secure and manage carrier capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and monitor service performance to meet operational KPIs.-Track and oversee transportation schedules, proactively addressing delays, service disruptions, or accessorial issues.-Prepare, review, and verify transportation documentation (BOL, rate confirmations, invoices, delivery receipts) to ensure compliance and accuracy.-Oversee billing processes, including issuing customer invoices (A/R), auditing carrier invoices (A/P), and resolving discrepancies.-Monitor shipment-level profitability and analyze margins to ensure cost control and performance targets are achieved.-Maintain accurate shipment and financial records within TMS/ERP systems, ensuring timely load closure and reporting.-Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery, damage, shortage, or claim-related issues efficiently.-Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen carrier partnerships.
