Additionally, will perform basic diagnostic operations in order to successfully diagnose trailer system failures and suggest accurate system repairs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s). * Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment * Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution, whenever appropriate. * Maintain 80% productivity * Prevent comebacks * Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of trailers and equipment. * Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as lubrications and component replacements. * Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories). * Test components using proper equipment to ensure proper operations. * Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil spring systems, and Hendrickson walking beam type suspension systems. * Perform basic aluminum and steel wire welding. * File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace. * Other duties assigned. The annualized pay ranges vary based on work location. The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $37.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible for monthly bonuses/commissions.
