Fleet Manager

In this role you will be working as a Fleet Manager for a client that works in the building materials industry. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing fleet safety, overseeing a group of drivers, and logistics for deliverables. This is a temp to possible perm role that must be performed on-site. The pay on this role is $40.00 to $45.00 an hour based on experience. Job Requirements: 3+ years of Fleet Management, Dispatch, or logistics Flatbed experience is a plus Strong background in maintaining DOT safety protocols Ability to recruit, train, schedule, and supervise CDL drivers Oversee 6-7 drivers- managing hours and schedules Know Fleet Safety, Compliance, and Regulatory Oversight Oversee registration, permitting, and compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and HOS Maintain driver compliance files Ability to handle daily logistics- schedules, assigning loads, assigning drivers, monitor load progress and adjust as needed, Ability to work with the production and maintenance staff to manage deliverables and time lines Assist with fleet budgeting, maintenance costs, and operational expenses Microsoft Office #VIS
