Logistics Specialist

Details: Introduction:Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Logistics Specialist position. This position is a 4+ month contract opportunity that will be on-site in Orlando, FL.We're looking for a candidate who is available to work the following shift schedules:* 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM* 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AMThere isn't a specific rotation schedule at this time; it would be on an as-needed basis.Position Summary:The overall objectives of the position is working in a warehouse environment which duties includes but are not limited to processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader.Responsibilities: Receive incoming Materials utilizing SAPInspects for damage, verify quantity and correct paperworkProcesses material to be shipped to our customers around the worldStocks Materials and pulls Materials from stockEnsures Materials for shipment are packaged properlyLocates and counts Materials in support of cycle counting/inventoryOperates forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basisCapable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysMust be flexible and willing to work any area in Materials as necessary.Other duties as assigned by Team leaderJob RequirementsMinimum Security Clearance: No Clearance Details: Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) DiplomaPossess and maintain a valid Driver License2 + years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks2 + years of Warehouse, Logistics or similar experience1 + year of ERP experience2+ years of Excel / WordPreferred Qualifications:1 + year of SAP experience5 + years on Excel2 + years of inventory control, loss prevention or equivalent experience2 + years of shipping & receiving experienceVisium Resources is an award-winning employment firm with a mission to match talented individuals with highly successful organizations.
