Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Crew Leader directs all tower technicians on the job site and ensures the timeliness, quality, and safety of the project. Crew Leaders must have 2-3 years of tower technician experience and the ability to manage crews.Responsibilities and Duties:As a Crew Leader the duties include, but are not limited to the following:Plan, delegate tasks, direct and supervise entire crew (leadership and management skills)Conduct pre-project meetings and complete all required paperworkAssess safety hazards and ensure all work is performed following all safety rules and regulationsEffectively train and mentor crew membersDirect successful completion of all scope of work assigned according to construction requirements and quality standards, and within the time frame allottedProvide troubleshooting and support for integration tasksPerform administrative tasks including timesheet submittals, daily reports, expense reports, materials list, etc.Perform punch-walks and submit close out package informationTake responsibility and care for all company equipment, vehicles, and toolsInvestigate and report all accidents/incidents to management and safety department; suggest and implement corrective actionsContribute to performance reviews for crews, motivate, and provide constructive feedbackRequirementsQualifications and Skills:Experience with all major carriers (TMOBILE, Verizon, AT&T)OSHA 30 (Best to Have)NWSA TT1, TT2, Foreman (Preferred)Comtrain and RiggingKnowledge and experience using test Equipment, ODM, PIM, Anritsu, OTDRMicrosoft Office or Google Suite ExperienceAbility to work with advanced hand/power tools, testing equipment, alignment toolsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitudeAbility to lead the crew to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to read SA and other paperworkMust have necessary work tools for Crew Leader positionMust be able to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a timeValid Driver's License with clean driving record or CDLAbility to operate truck and trailerSalary and Benefits:$30-$35/hour plus per diemExcellent health care benefits including medical, dental, vision and FSA plus additional supplemental offeringsGreat PTO plans and morePhysical Requirements:Must be able to climb and work on the towers, poles, buildings (no fear of heights)Must be able to lift and carry at least 70 poundsMust be able to perform the essential job functions safely and successfullyMust be able to work in inclement weather (snow, rain, heat, high winds, etc.), long hours and variety of shifts (including night work)Must be able to pass ongoing drug screen testingSalary Description $30-$35/hour BOE
