Mobile Trailer TechnicianPay: $30.55-36.23/hr.Shift:Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri from 7am to 5pmDescription:Cannonball Recruiting is seeking experienced a Trailer Technician for a Trailer Service Department in Manheim, PA. Perform all phases of repairs and modifications to semi-trailers in a safe and productive manner.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED5+ years of experience working on Semi-TrailersExpectations include the ability to diagnose, repair, and guide technicians in the following:Electrical SystemsStructural Repairs Chassis Repairs Hydraulic / Air Brake / ABS systems Lift Gate Systems Basic Reefer RepairsFederal DOT Inspections Perform all levels of preventive maintenance Identify warrantable repairs and document using provided UKTS processesMust be able to keep up in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyExcellent organization, customer service, communication and planning skillsPhysical Environments:Noise levels are moderate to high at times.The physical exertion is moderate to heavy. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds.The employee must be capable of continuously climbing up and down into a trailer.Job Duties:Meets daily with the Lease/Rental Operations Supervisor and other operations personnel to discuss scheduling and demands for equipmentExhibit a strong sense of urgency and constant focus on daily efficiency and productionPerform repairs and inspections on all lease/rental semi-trailer makes and modelsPerform basic and routine preventative maintenance on trailers, along with DOT inspectionsRepair/Replace trailer componentsOpen and close repair orders on company issued laptopManage parts inventory on the service truckAccurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashionMaintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within standard repair timesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local government and company standards for reliability and safetyBenefits:Quarterly Profit SharePerformance Bonus (up to $600 monthly)PTO (2-weeks) and 8 Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceMatching 401K (Retirement Planning)Company uniforms providedPrescription safety glasses and work boots programNo weekends
