Job DescriptionDo you have previous traffic flagger experience and are looking for a great position? Luttrell Staffing Group is now hiring for Certified Traffic Control Flagger positions in Nashville, TN. Must have a traffic control flagger certification for the State of TN Valid Driver's License Perks & Benefits for Traffic Control Flagger:• Starting pay of $18.50/hour, increasing to $19.50/hour, with the potential to earn up to $22.50/hour upon direct hire by the client• Monday-Friday schedule, typically 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (7-10-hour shifts)• Weekend availability required with flexible scheduling for events, concerts, and special assignments• Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity• Safety-focused work environment• Weekly pay• Insurance options availableJob Duties of a Traffic Control Flagger:• Performs traffic control and flagging operations following all safety procedures• Sets up and removes signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices• Directs motorists safely around work zones and moving equipment• Coordinates daily plans, locations, and updates with crew leads and officers• Ensures safety of workers and the traveling public at all times• Monitors and maintains traffic control equipment and visibility in work zones• Completes job tickets, paperwork, and end-of-day walkthroughs accurately and on time• Communicates team updates and equipment needs with supervisors• Assists with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of work areas• Follows all safety rules and wears required protective equipment• Works independently to set up and perform flagging duties per site plans or supervisor direction• Operates a two-way radio for clear communication• Provides excellent customer service and professionalism• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety standards• Performs other related duties as assignedJob Requirements and Desired Skills for Traffic Control Flagger:• Must have a traffic control flagger certification for the State of TN • Must have a High School Diploma or GED• At least 6 months of prior experience as a flagger is required• Wear PPE as required• Must be able to lift to 50lbs• Ability to stand for long periods of time• Works effectively as part of a team• Must maintain flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, events, and concerts as neededIf you have the experience and skills we're looking for, apply to Luttrell Staffing today!
