ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:Provides services behind the counter: baggage handling, transfer of baggage and oversized transfers, and assistance in the processing and transport of passenger luggage.Guarantees the service to the client's airlines/airports in accordance with the contracts and within the agreed budget level.Complies with customer service skills as provided via training.Fully trained and familiar with the procedures behind counter management, aviation safety, security procedures, and safety procedures Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATIONHigh school diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE 1 year of aviation experienceSKILL and/or ABILITIESMust be able to lift 70lbs or moreMust be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.Be able to maintain customer service professionalism while under pressure and stressful environmentMust be able to read airline boarding passAlways be professional in appearance and manners to passengers and any other person at the airport Training will be provided.Must pass all pre-employment requirements and those to obtain an Airport ID with a sealMust have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, night shiftThe ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check.TRAVELNegligiblePHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITIONPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
