This role owns carrier strategy, contract negotiations, capacity allocation, and performance governance across a complex global network of origin ports, North American gateways, and distribution centers. With accountability for approximately $900M in annual spend and 150,000+ annual import containers, the position directly influences landed cost, on-time performance, and network resilience. Operating in a highly volatile global trade environment, the role establishes policies and decision frameworks to manage cost, capacity, service, and compliance risks.
