Non Instructional/Operations - Transportation Job Number 4600319057 Start Date Open Date 03/11/2026 Closing Date 06/30/2026 General Definition of WorkThe Transportation Technician I, under general supervision, performs skill-based work with minimal decision-making discretion performing routine preventative maintenance on vehicular equipment including gasoline and diesel-driven vehicles to maintain a safe and economical fleet. This position will be directly responsible for fueling buses and the upkeep of tires on buses. Employee performs district-level work to carry-out Board of Education policies under the direction of the Transportation Maintenance Services Supervisor.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
