Transportation Coordinator

JOb Title- Transportation Coordinator Location: This role is remote. We prefer that candidates live near one of the Location: St. Louis MO, Davenport IA, Crete, NE). Heavy preference on candidates in the Midwest. Duration- 12 Month+ Contract Summary This is a remote contract role will support a small transportation team of three. The contractor will complete day to day transportation planning activities including scheduling, tendering, product issue resolution, and email communication, while working cross functionally with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a fast-paced environment. They should take ownership of issues, proactively problem solve, and follow items through to resolution. Transportation or inventory experience is helpful but not required; SAP and Excel experience are a plus. The role requires reliable availability during core business hours, with willingness to support occasional overtime and holiday rotation.
