Registration Division Operations and Clearance Support (SDC-1493) ID: SDC-1493 Location: Washington Program: SEE Wage/Hr: $19.21 Hours/Week: 27 per week Minimum Age: 55 For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States. NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in IT Support, Administration OR BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Administration, Science Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS OneDrive, Adobe, Fax, Copying Machine, Multiple Phone Lines, Scanner Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive), SalesForce Duties: Provides operational, records, and logistical support to the Registration Division in the areas of e-business onboarding/separations, clearance tracking, property and facilities coordination, and division mail handling. Assists federal staff by maintaining tracking systems, coordinating routine actions, and preparing simple reports and procedural materials, following established policies and procedures. E-Business and Onboarding/Separation Support ? Process e-business service and product requests for new staff, staff separations, and location changes using established Registration Division procedures and templates. ? Monitor periodic ?action required? emails related to e-business cases, verify completeness of requests, resolve routine discrepancies, and refer unusual or complex issues to the federal supervisor. ? Compile simple status reports on open and completed requests and recommend practical adjustments to improve timeliness and reduce repeated errors. 35% Clearance and CBI/FIFRA/TSCA Records Support ? Maintain up-to-date records of staff clearance status and access lists for CBI/FIFRA/TSCA information as directed by the federal Document Control Officer or other designated security official. ? Operate and update tracking tools for clearance renewals and document routing; generate periodic summaries for management review. ? Coordinate logistics for required security briefings or trainings (scheduling, invitations, materials) and provide standard administrative information prepared by federal staff. ? Ensure availability of appropriate CBI and non-CBI containers and related supplies and promptly report any suspected security issues to the federal DCO or supervisor for evaluation and action. 30% Property, Facilities, and Inventory Coordination ? Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for routine property requests (e.g., desktops, furniture, printer cartridges, cell phones, laptops) and facilities issues (e.g., temperature, leaks, pests), following established Registration Division and Agency procedures. ? Maintain division property inventory records and reconcile them periodically with Agency property staff, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective steps. ? Review recurring property or facilities issues and propose reasonable process improvements (such as standardizing equipment packages or documenting common building issues) for supervisor consideration. 15% Develop Certificates of Registration (Gold Seals) ? Develop Gold Seals letters for conventional pesticides within 51 days of receipt of the PRIA M006 submission ? Receive and close assignments in Salesforce following proper recordkeeping practices ? Follow the Gold Seals workflow and Standard Operating Procedure to develop the Gold Seal letters 15% Division Mail and General Administrative Support ? Retrieve division mail from the mailroom on a regular schedule, screen and distribute it in accordance with standard procedures, and coordinate any special handling required for time-sensitive or tracked items. ? Assist with drafting or updating procedural guides, checklists, and simple standard operating procedures for Registration Division operational processes (e-business, property, mail, basic clearance tracking) based on supervisor guidance. 5% Other: FIFRA CBI Clearance; Yearly Mandatory Trainings for all OPP employees Physical requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
