Logistics Coordinator

Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless logistics operations and effective customer coordination at our local branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of dynamic operational needs. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely coordination and delivery of goods. - Proactively address and resolve logistical issues or changes as they arise. - Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline communication and operational efficiency. - Maintain accurate records by entering, tracking, and monitoring activities in the designated systems. - Adjust daily priorities to meet evolving operational demands and ensure smooth processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve challenges while maintaining a high standard of customer service. - Support the stabilization and improvement of logistics processes. - Ensure compliance with shipping, customs, and distribution protocols. Requirements - Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field. - Proficiency in SAP is required. - Hands-on experience with logistics or operational systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. - Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or building materials is a plus. - Demonstrated commitment to being a reliable and consistent team member.
