This role partners with internal teams, rail carriers, and service providers to help ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable delivery. The Rail Services Coordinator contributes to contract administration, railcar fleet coordination, and performance tracking while helping maintain high service standards across operations.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHSupport the administration and execution of inbound and outbound rail freight contracts Assist with railcar lease agreements and help coordinate oversight of a fleet of ~3,800 railcars, including maintenance tracking Partner with service providers to help ensure performance aligns with company standards Compile, track, and report monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams on day-to-day rail transportation planning and execution Help monitor railcar supply and utilization to support efficient and cost-effective operations Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities related to rail transportationDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experienceRequired Work Experience: 2-3 years of rail experience a plus, 2-3 years of logistics/supply chain experience a plusRequired Technical Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or other ERS systems experience a plus Additional Requirements:Able to interact with all levels of the organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and spreadsheet skillsExcellent financial and business acumenExcellent negotiation skillsGood presentation skillsGood project management skillsSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
