Captain's cabin with queen bed.Crew: Captain / Engineer is the only full-time crew, but this position is open to couplesSummary:Seeking a captain/engineer to take command of a new Horizon FD85. This is a private family program with fantastic owners who have owned boats for many years. Usage is mainly during the winter with trips to the Bahamas. Light summer season usage. The boat is used mainly for family trips and the occasional fishing trip.Owner is open to docking the boat on the east or west coast of Florida.The ideal candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and have proven experience maintaining a high standard of vessel maintenance and upkeep. We are looking for someone punctual, organized and personable/family friendly.Requirements:100-ton licenseValid B1B1 or US passportExcellent communication and organizational skillsMust have experience captaining similar sized vessels with strong referencesStrong engineering/technical knowledgeFishing knowledge is a plusSTCWENG1Must speak English to a high standardMust be willing to comply to a criminal background check prior to employmentPackage:Salary: $8,000 - $10,000 DOE monthlyPaid Leave: 2 weeks the first year, moving up to 3 weeks after first yearInsurance not providedDiscretionary bonus after 1 yearContract provided
