Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours will vary based upon flight schedules. Number of weekly hours may increase or decrease due to seasonal flight changesPassenger Service AgentPassenger Service Agent General Purpose of Job:This position is responsible for providing comprehensive customer service to all individuals seeking to use customer or charter services by being attentive to their needs, promptly addressing their inquiries, and completing the required transactions as outlined below. Additional responsibilities include ramp, aircraft cleaning, operations, wheelchair assist, and commissary duties as required.Passenger Service Agent Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Processes customer tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seatsProvides information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangementsHandles denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, accommodating Customers, and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriateEnsures FAA, Airline, and airport regulations are followedEnforces safety/security measures and protects sensitive zonesAssists Customers with special needs, i.e., Customers who need assistance in boardingBrings Wheelchair passengers from the ticket counter to the gates and from the gates to the baggage serviceExcellent communication skillsAble to read and write English; bilingual skills a plusAble to work efficiently under time constraintsMust be available to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, plus weekends and holidaysMust be well-groomed and physically fitCompletely clean and search an aircraftOther duties as assignedMust pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug testMust have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986Able to attend required trainingBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftHolidaysNight shiftWeekend availabilityExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)
