Available Units Include: Inpatient Med/Surg – Broad medical diagnoses; ideal for building core Med/Surg skills Med Surg 5E & 5W – Diverse adult medical patients with a focus on assessments, teamwork, and care coordination General Surgery 3W – Post‑operative care including abdominal, bariatric, and surgical recovery patients Medical 7E – Med/Surg patients requiring cardiac monitoring and fast‑paced acute care Medical 7W – Acute medical management with strong emphasis on prioritization and patient care efficiency Neurology 8E – Care for stroke, seizure, and neurological patients with interdisciplinary support Orthopedics – Post‑operative joint replacement, spine, and orthopedic recovery Oncology 8W – Compassionate care for cancer treatment, symptom management, and end‑of‑life care Not sure which unit is the best fit? Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program Active LPN license in Missouri or a compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire) Preferred Qualifications Prior hospital or acute‑care experience Additional certifications related to the specialty area New graduate LPNs are encouraged to apply.
