Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary:The Manager-on-Duty directs supervisory personnel within assigned functional area.Oversee and advise on staffing requirementsMonitor/administer discipline/corrective action by or for subordinatesEnsure customer satisfaction by daily feedbackAct as liaison between first level supervisor and upper management Proactively monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standardsMaintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislationEnsure the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure all staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badgeEnsure they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respectResponsibilities:Read, analyze, and interpret Employee Handbook, Supervisors Manual, applicable union contract, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, airline policy and procedures manualsWrite reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsEffectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customersDefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsInterpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formOperate equipment and hold necessary licensing (if applicable)Perform specific responsibilities related to your shiftReport to work on a regular and timely basisVIDEO: Sounds of CargoMinimum Qualifications: (Required) Two to five years previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service dutiesBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAirline pricing experienceMust be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days offPreferred Skills: (Desired but not required)Familiarity with personal computer software Independent judgment and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skillsAbility to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English languagePhysical Requirements|Working Conditions:Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassistedPerks & Benefits:Want your pay in advance?
