DescriptionUT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiologist to join the expanding Division of Community Radiology. This position will be based at the ambulatory clinic in Fort Worth, TX.Divisional duties include interpreting a full range of diagnostic imaging studies and providing consultation to referring physicians, and clinical expertise with radiograph interpretation, body and chest CT imaging, and general ultrasound is expected. This position will also oversee fluoroscopic studies performed by a Radiology Assistant.Call responsibilities are rotated equally among the group, with separate ER in-house coverage for after hours. Interventional radiology, neuroradiology, mammography, cross-sectional musculoskeletal imaging or pediatric radiology are not required.The Division of Community Radiology currently includes 19 faculty and 5 radiology assistants. Service locations include University Hospitals, Parkland Health & Hospital System, and 6 ambulatory clinics across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, all with state-of-the-art equipment.The PACs system is integrated with the EMR for easy review of relevant history by the interpreting radiologist. Standardized dictation templates are utilized for ease of decision support in up-to-date radiology interpretations and recommendations. Radiologist-led quality assurance programs ensure patients are safely and optimally imaged. Eligibility for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment is required
