We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Therapist to join our team. This vital role focuses on supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of children and adolescents, helping them navigate academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal challenges. The therapist will play a key part in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children and adolescents can thrive both emotionally and academically.Responsibilities:Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents in both in-person and remote settings, both individually and in groupsDevelop and implement personalized intervention plansConduct assessments to identify emotional and behavioral needsCollaborate with caregivers, educators, and other professionals as neededDevelop and implement personalized intervention plans using evidence-based practices such as MATCH-ADTC, SBIRT, The Student Checkup, Botvin, and CBTConduct assessments and monitor progress using validated tools including PSC-17, PSC-35, GAD-7, and PHQ-9.Offer workshops and training sessions for clients and patients on mental health issuesMaintain accurate and confidential records of patient sessions and progressAdvocate for patients' mental health needs within the communityDevelop and implement preventive programs and activities to promote mental health awarenessQualifications & Skills:Master's degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Licensed or certified as a school therapist in the state of employment Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational settingStrong knowledge of child development and evidence-based therapeutic interventionsProficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniquesBilingual abilities are an asset (Spanish)Familiarity with special education laws and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using counseling and educational assessment toolsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in a school or clinical settingDemonstrated ability to create and implement effective intervention plansKnowledge of ethical guidelines and confidentiality laws pertaining to student mental healthStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionCommitment to continuous professional development and learningAbility to use technology effectively for record-keeping and communicationEmpathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support students' well-being.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualificationsTransportation reimbursement for work-related travelOpportunities for professional development and trainingSupportive and collaborative work environmentFlexible scheduling options, including remote work opportunitiesModerate degree of mental/visual stress involved.
