Under supervision to manage and operate a receiving kitchen facility in a school and to do related work as required. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:1. Receives meals delivered from vendor and verifies accuracy in amounts.2. Cooks food requiring cooking and insures uncooked food is at proper temperature for serving.3. Serves lunches to students.4. Cleans and maintains equipment, counters, sinks, etc.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Procedures used in serving of foodHealth and sanitation requirementsAbility to:Effectively serve student meals in allotted amount of timeWork cooperatively with those contacted in the course of workValid Food Handlers Certificate or ability to obtain and retain once hiredRequirements / QualificationsComments and Other InformationThis is a substitute, on-call, as-needed basis and will cover for Food Service Worker positions who call out.
