Over 20,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online South College Asheville is seeking a Radiology Adjunct Instructor to join the Radiology Department. This position is on-ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC. Clinical supervision may be required at area clinical affiliates. Primary Responsibilities * Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or labs, as well as learning experiences that allow students to achieve course learning objectives * Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking during clinical rotations while fostering a positive learning environment * Validate student competency in the clinical and lab environment * Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines * Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students * Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance * Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting as needed Requirements Education * Must possess a minimum of an associates degree in radiography * Bachelors degree preferred Experience * Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiography * Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography * Prior experience with supervision of students in clinical or didactic settings preferred
