Behavioral Services Therapist Trauma Recovery Center

TRAUMA RECOVERY CENTER AMBULATORY/OUTPATIENT SETTING This position will be in the outpatient Trauma Recovery Center. Applicant should have experience with providing psychotherapy and other BH interventions such as CBT, motivational interviewing, etc. Applicant should also have a basic understanding of case management/care coordination and community resources. Applicant will be working with survivors of trauma and violent crime. Preferring training in trauma-informed care/working with trauma populations. Provides evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed. Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master's (or Doctoral) degree in counseling from a national or regionally-accredited institute of higher education, including an internship and coursework on human behavior and development, effective counseling strategies, ethical practice and pertinent core knowledge areas and experience. Completion of a minimum of 3000 hours of post-master's degree supervised clinical experienced performed within two years. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Licensed Professional Counselor.
