Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Prepare charts and documentation in advance of patient appointmentsGreet and room patients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environmentRecord vital signs and other essential health data accuratelyMaintain and update patients' electronic health records including medications, allergies, past medical history, family history, and review of systemsDocument physician exam findings, procedures, and diagnostic codes accuratelyProcess and send prescriptions to pharmaciesHandle patient and pharmacy nursing calls professionally and efficientlyAssist in running daily clinic operationsEnter and manage patient orders, referrals, and prescriptionsTrack and log test results and patient progress notesCommunicate with referring providers, primary care physicians, and surgical centers as neededQualifications:Current Certified Medical Assistant required.
