The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. **Summary of Essential Duties:** + Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions + Administer contrast material + Prepare and operate CT scan equipment + Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images + Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading + Cleans and disinfects patient rooms + Follow infection control and safety guidelines **We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!** **Qualifications** **Education:** + Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required **Licensure/Certifications:** + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required + California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year from start date + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required + Venipuncture certification required **Experience:** + A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist required + Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered as a CT Tech I + Experience in a hospital setting required, including Emergency Department and inpatient cases + Experience with Trauma and Stroke patients required + Experience with advanced exams, including Angio of abdomen or head and neck, required Keywords: Computed Tomography, CT-Scan, Tech, Technologist, Technician, Imaging, Radiology, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, California Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
