Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

Job Description About the Role We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our acute care hospital team. The Respiratory Therapist will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and life-support respiratory care to patients across a variety of inpatient units, including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and specialty areas as assigned. Multiple shifts available. Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments including aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator support Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code teams Perform arterial blood gases and interpret results Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Qualifications Active state Respiratory Care Practitioner license CRT or RRT credential BLS, ACLS, PALS (currently have or willing to obtain) Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred Additional Information Why work with me?
