A full-time School Psychologist position is available to provide essential support to students across four high school campuses, focusing on a special education population of 110-120 students. This on-site role requires a dedicated professional who can contribute to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment through psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families. Key Responsibilities: Administer psychological evaluations and interpret results to guide educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to students' needs Assist in crisis prevention and intervention strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute data-driven insights Support the development of positive behavioral support plans Qualifications & Experience: Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with special education populations preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Commitment to student advocacy and promoting mental health Location: On-site work is based in Sterling Heights, MI, serving four high school campuses.
