CT Technologist - Alpharetta, GA

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This night shift contract role offers the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and patient care skills while supporting diagnostic procedures that contribute to excellent clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Independently perform a broad range of CT procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety. • Verify clinician orders and obtain detailed clinical histories, assessing for contraindications prior to procedures. • Administer contrast media following established protocols, monitoring patient responses and maintaining comfort and dignity. • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality control and reporting malfunctions promptly. • Collaborate with physicians and staff, following instructions and communicating clearly using AIDET principles. • Maintain accurate, concise patient documentation and imaging records. • Respond to emergency situations as needed and assist technologists across modalities when required. • Manage scheduling and prioritize tasks to meet department needs efficiently. • Participate in departmental education and training initiatives. • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including radiation protection and Joint Commission requirements. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. • Current ARRT certifications in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required. • Valid BLS certification. • Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred but not mandatory. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff. • Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure while contributing positively to a team environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
