The ideal candidate would have an interest in procedures/interventions and/or neuroradiology. In addition, basic procedural skills such as CT and US-guided percutaneous interventions is preferred, but not absolutely required. The position would best fit a self-motivated individual who is looking to build his or her local practice while enjoying the suburban and rural beauty of the Carolinas. The practice is located at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC and currently has 3 radiologists. SMH is a financially strong, progressive 104 bed hospital with close to 90 physicians. The town is home to St. Andrews University, an equestrian center, and Richmond Community College.
