About the Position: Led by David Silver, MD, a gynecologic psychiatrist who is formally trained in psychiatry after years of experience in the field of gynecologic oncology - our practice is one of a few in the country that focuses on treating women's emotional, behavioral, and cognitive concerns related to their reproductive lifecycles and health. Provide direct clinical services using a wide variety of mental health treatment modalities including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy Assess and develop appropriate treatment plans Perform evaluations and communicate with WBHS psychiatrists, Ob-Gyns, PCPs, and other health care providers throughout the evaluation, treatment, and discharge process Intervene in crisis situations in a timely and efficient manner Professional Skills: Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care Ability to work as part of a team approach while providing personalized care and favorable clinical outcomes Eligible for licensure in the state of PennsylvaniaQualificationsAbout UPMC Central Pa UPMC Central Pa is a nationally recognized leader in providing high-quality, patient-centered health care services in central Pennsylvania and surrounding rural communities.
