Unit Description The Cardiac ICU is a 38 bed Beacon Designation Intensive Care Unit that provides multidisciplinary care to a variety of patients while specializing in caring for the cardiac patient population. The unit is a mixed CVICU/CCU that takes care of many different diagnosis including: STEMI, Cardiac Arrest, IABP, Impella, and various post open heart surgery patients. We also take care of medical ICU patients that include: sepsis, DKA, CRRT, and respiratory failure. Our goal is the provision of clinical excellence and exceptional customer service in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, patient- centered environment. ScheduleDays- 0645-1915 Night- 1845-0715Floating within the module on a rotational basis (Includes all adult ICUs and Telemetry floors)One additional shift minimum per 4 week scheduleUPDATE: As of 6/12/20, Renown Reserves the right to call off, without penalty, FOUR (4) shifts, or 48 hours, for low census per 13 week contract.
