An infusion pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract at a prominent healthcare facility's northeast campus in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on clinical pharmacy services within a specialty infusion setting, providing critical oversight and support to home infusion operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform clinical pharmacist duties, including verifying and checking infusion orders. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and compound intravenous medications when required, including proper aseptic technique. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans in the home infusion setting. Utilize pharmacy systems, with experience in Brightree preferred but not mandatory. Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing. Proven experience in home infusion pharmacy, including clinical pharmacy and IV compounding. Ability to gown and maintain aseptic technique while preparing intravenous therapies. Familiarity with pharmacy information systems; experience with Brightree advantageous. Schedule: Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
