Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Norristown, PA

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist specializing in infusion services at a prominent Northeast campus location. This role focuses on providing expert clinical oversight within a specialty pharmacy setting. Responsibilities: Conduct clinical reviews and verifications of infusion prescriptions and processes Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and safety Prepare and occasionally compound IV admixtures, including aseptic techniques and gowning procedures Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient infusion care Utilize pharmacy management systems (experience with Brightree preferred) for documentation and workflow management Qualifications: Current and valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing Strong background in home infusion pharmacy with hands-on experience in preparing IV medications Attention to detail and clinical judgment skills Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians effectively Familiarity with Brightree system is advantageous but not mandatory Shift & Schedule: Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 13-week contract, starting as soon as possible This contract role provides an opportunity to apply your infusion pharmacy expertise in a dynamic clinical environment, focusing on patient-centered care and specialist support.
