Specialist in School Psychology * Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist, will consider for internship year Essential Duties * Full-time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary Schoo * Building coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data * Facilitate building level Section 504 Evaluations and meeting * Participate in building level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations with strong diagnostic skills and experience participating in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process * Ability to take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP) * Building crisis support team * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team * Effective collaboration with parents, educational staff and other professionals * Experience facilitating the IEP process * Knowledge of applied behavior analysis * Trained in, or willing to be trained in non-violent crisis intervention * Maintain accurate and confidential records * Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable Salary Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.
