MRI Technician | Ballwin, Missouri

Join a specialized imaging team as an MRI Technologist serving Interventional Radiology, Emergency, and Outpatient departments within a leading South St. Louis County hospital. This 16-week contract role offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment, deliver high-quality patient care, and contribute to diverse diagnostic imaging procedures in a dynamic hospital setting. Responsibilities: Perform specialized MRI procedures on a variety of patients, including vented and anesthesia cases, to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Apply MR safety principles to ensure patient and staff safety during imaging. Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process. Collaborate effectively with the Interventional Radiology team and other clinical staff. Participate in rotating call shifts, including weekends, as required by the facility. Qualifications: ARRT registration upon hire; must obtain advanced ARRT MRI registry within one year. R.R.A. certification and BLS required. Minimum of 2 years' experience in pediatric radiology/imaging with expertise in GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems preferred. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Completion of an accredited radiography program. Schedule & Location: Dayshift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours) Rotating call schedule with 2-3 weekend days per week Orientation to evening shift will occur during a full week of day shifts.
