City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy Supervisor for the Case Management Specialty Pharmacy Location: Sentara Norfolk General- Norfolk, VA Status: Full Time (40 hrs/wk) Shift: Days No Set Weekends or Holidays The Pharmacy Supervisor provides formal leadership to pharmacy team members. Responsible and accountable for the provision of safe, compliant, effective, and prompt pharmacy services. Participates in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system while providing comprehensive and individualized pharmaceutical care to the patients. Assumes leadership accountability for daily pharmacy operations, coordination of workflows, quality and service, human resource management, strategic planning, and medication management locally and within the system. Serves as a resource for staff, represents pharmacy leadership within the division, and implements and supports local and system initiatives. Assumes local and system leadership responsibility and accountability for all aspects of pharmacy operations.
