We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Atlantis, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.NBRC credential required.BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.At least one prior travel assignment required.Experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment used in acute care, including high flow systems, CPAP/BiPAP, V60, Servo-1, and Servo-U preferred.Experience using Meditech preferred.Stroke education and related experience preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Nights.Shift hours: 1830-0700.Typical unit: Large acute care medical/surgical facility supporting cardiovascular, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics services.Unit staffing: Night shift typically staffed with Supervisor and multiple RRTs; patient ratios vary.Documentation system: Meditech.Call requirements: As needed.Location Highlights Atlantis, FL sits within Palm Beach County near coastal recreation and cultural amenities. Perform respiratory assessments, therapeutic interventions, ventilator management, respiratory diagnostics, and patient/family education.
