Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment in a high-acuity respiratory therapy department at a 741-bed hospital in Nashville, TN.Job Details• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department (Main Tower) of a 741-bed hospital in Nashville, TN,• Equipment used includes Drager Ventilators, Phillips V60, Vapotherm, and Metaneb,• Documentation system: Meditech,• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,• Schedule requires 36 hours per week with every other weekend,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active RRT or CRT credential required; license required if applicable,• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with active experience within the last 6 months,• One year of ICU experience preferred,• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted); PALS preferred,• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,• US SSN and DOB required for consideration - no Canadian SSNs accepted,• Professional reference required (two references required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri),• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - no local candidates accepted,Additional Information• Procedures performed include bronchodilator therapy, ABG collection/analysis, airway clearance, trach care, ventilator management, intubation assist, patient assessment, high-flow O2 therapy, patient transport, and code blue response,• This is a high-acuity facility offering a wide range of critical care services with a highly skilled respiratory therapy team,• Scrub color requirement: black, gray, or raspberry scrubs
