Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a multi-site assignment including OR, Endoscopy, and outpatient IR workflows in Oregon.Job Details• Interventional Radiology unit in an academic medical center setting,• Assignment spans three work sites: South Waterfront/CHH2, the OR, and the Endoscopy Unit at the main hospital campus,• Patient workflows include OR procedures, Endoscopy procedures, inpatient, day patient, and outpatient cases,• Equipment includes fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), ultrasonography, and cone beam CT,• Uses Epic for charting,• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,• Overnight on-call required: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM, approximately 1-2 nights per week,• Weekend on-call required: 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday, approximately once per month,• Candidates may be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required,• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required,• Active Oregon state license required (if applicable),• Epic charting experience required,• COVID vaccination documentation required - no exemptions,• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months are required; charge nurse references are not acceptable,• Ability to work independently on-call with department physicians and nurses,Additional Information• Assist physicians during procedures by operating fluoroscopy, DSA, ultrasonography, and cone beam CT imaging equipment,• Prepare patients and supplies under sterile conditions; scrub in with the physician and assist during procedures as needed,• Operate automatic injectors and select appropriate contrast agents under physician direction,• Provide patient care during examinations in collaboration with other staff members,• Former facility employees or previous travelers at this facility must provide a reference from the supervising manager at the facility,• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction,• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and may not exceed 2 weeks,• First-time travelers should verify eligibility before applying
