Travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency across OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging.Job Details• 10-hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 9:30 AM,• 4 shifts per week,• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month,• Block scheduling is generally not approved,• Primarily assigned to a department but expected to float to other areas as needed,• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and neonates across OR, ED, inpatient, and portable settings,• High-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with complex, high-volume, and diverse trauma cases,• EMR: Epic and Sectra (experience required),• Equipment: GE, Philips, and CareStream,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2-3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility,• Experience in OR, ED, inpatient, and portable X-ray settings required,• Willingness to work with pediatric and neonatal patients required,• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-accredited program required,• Current ARRT certification and BLS required,• Active state license required if applicable,• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced, high-volume trauma environments,• Experience at high-volume hospitals with severe and diverse case types,Additional Information• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and evaluate images for technical quality,• Will work alongside students and perform competency check-offs as part of the role,• Local candidates are accepted for this position,• Certifications and skills checklist matching the radiology specialty must be provided for consideration
