When will you work?The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pmMay require occasional off-shift, weekend, or on-call support based on operational needsWhat you'll do:Support the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulationsAssist with safety inspections, audits, and regulatory readiness; document findings and follow up on corrective actionsParticipate in incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysisPartner with operations, warehouse, quality, and people teams to identify hazards and reinforce safe work practicesDeliver and support EHS training including new hire orientation and ongoing safety educationSupport environmental compliance efforts including waste management, hazardous materials handling, and spill preventionMaintain accurate EHS documentation, reporting, and tracking of safety metricsAssist with emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response coordinationPromote safety engagement through committees, awareness campaigns, and safety initiativesMonitor adherence to safety policies and escalate concerns as neededStay current on regulatory updates and industry best practicesWho you are:Safety-focused with a strong understanding of workplace compliance and risk mitigationDetail-oriented and able to manage documentation, reporting, and follow-ups effectivelyStrong communicator who can engage employees at all levelsCollaborative and able to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while driving safety and complianceWhat you've done:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred3-5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, warehouse, or regulated environmentsWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standardsExperience supporting inspections, audits, and incident investigationsExperience delivering or facilitating safety trainingExperience in pharmacy, life sciences, or regulated environments strongly preferredProfessional certifications (ASP, CSP in progress, or equivalent) preferredWhat's in it for you:A comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and flexible spending accounts401(k) retirement plan with a generous company contribution to help you save for the futureCompany Paid Life and disability insuranceAccess to voluntary insurance optionsA generous paid time off program that increases every yearTuition reimbursementOpportunity for growth - We believe in promoting from within and do so through our internal job posting program!About UsWedgewood is the nation's largest and most trusted provider of compounded veterinary medications.
