Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for a hospital setting serving adult and pediatric patients.Minimum Requirements:2 years CT technologist experience.Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent educational credential.Current ARRT (R) certification with CT registry, or equivalent credential.Current New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiography license required.NYS DOH Injection Certification required.BLS certification.Experience working in ED, inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.Experience with Siemens Somatom AS and Siemens Somatom Definition Edge / 64-128 slice scanners preferred.Trauma and cardiac CTA experience preferred.Availability to work every other weekend preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Nights.Shift details: Nights 2300-0700.Patient populations: Adults and pediatrics.Work setting: ED, inpatient and outpatient imaging for a Level II trauma center and Gold plus stroke-designated facility.Location Highlights Bay Shore, NY offers coastal and suburban lifestyle options with convenient access to regional destinations.
