American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week evening shift contract at a Level IV Trauma, Stroke Ready facility in Mount Pleasant, WI, requiring 2+ years of acute care CT experience.Job Details• 60-bed Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility located in Mount Pleasant, WI,• CT unit with 2 scanners (Canon 80-slice and 40-slice) shared back-to-back with a control room,• Patient population includes outpatients, ED, inpatients, and Level IV trauma cases; primarily adults with occasional pediatric patients (toddler and up; infant cases are rare),• Approximately 20 scans per shift per tech,• Common procedures include strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdominal, extremity, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolism scans,• 4x10-hour evening shifts, Monday-Thursday, 12:30 PM-10:00 PM,• Set schedule with no weekend rotation and no on-call requirements,• Holidays falling on a scheduled workday are expected to be worked,• No floating required,• Epic EMR (preferred); McKesson PACS; Pyxis medication dispensing,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of acute care CT experience, with most recent experience within the last year,• ARRT (CT) certification, WI state license, and BLS required; license required if applicable,• Experience with strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, and Level IV trauma scan types,• Comfortable working independently, particularly after 6:30 PM when staffing is reduced,• Canon and/or Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred,• Minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN collected within the last year,• First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 10+ years of CT experience,Additional Information• IV starts, CT perfusions, and biopsy/special procedure experience are preferred; please indicate if you have this experience,• Department support includes a second CT tech during day shift, an Imaging Patient Assistant (present until 9:00 PM), a Radiology Nurse (until 4:00 PM), a Lead CT Tech during day shift, and a House Supervisor available for IV support after hours,• MRI, X-ray, RT, and phlebotomy services are available on-site 24/7,• Orientation includes facility-level NEO plus 3 days of unit-specific orientation,• Scrubs must be a solid color and professional in appearance; graphics, logos, and designs are not permitted,• Free parking is available on-site,• Unit culture is described as fun and close-knit,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restrictions apply,• Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for this travel position,• Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN are required for consideration,• Candidate's middle name or initial is required for consideration
