MRI Technician | Crestwood, Kentucky

Engage in a rewarding MRI technologist role providing advanced imaging services for a diverse patient population in Crestwood, KY. This contract travel assignment invites MRI technicians with acute inpatient experience to support a busy unit caring for approximately 40 patients daily, including complex neuro cases such as spine injuries, strokes, and head traumas, along with student athletes. Schedule and Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend rotations and holiday shifts as needed based on unit requirements No on-call duties Key Responsibilities: Operate Siemens Sola and Verio MRI scanners, performing high-quality imaging Provide compassionate care to acute patients with neurological conditions Collaborate closely with radiologists and other MRI techs; may work independently on some shifts Utilize EMR systems, preferably Cerner, for patient documentation Adhere to department protocols during a two-week orientation period Qualifications and Experience: At least 1 year of acute inpatient MRI experience Valid BLS certification ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required Kentucky license unless grandfathered in Strong patient care skills with a positive and professional approach Location Insight: Crestwood, KY, offers a welcoming community environment with convenient access to Lexington and Louisville areas. While this position is open to those flexible to relocate for travel, local applicants within 50 miles of Louisville are not eligible to apply.
