Title: Purification Chemist Duration: 12 months contract Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Flexible) Position Summary " Support compound purification activities within the Compound Purification Laboratory (CPL) team. " Perform small molecule purification to support crop protection discovery and development projects. " Apply separation techniques and analytical expertise to deliver high-quality purified samples. " Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Discovery Chemistry, Analytical, and Process Sciences. Responsibilities " Design and execute purification methods to support Discovery Chemistry and Analytical R&D " Operate and troubleshoot analytical and preparative instruments such as LC, SFC, and flash chromatography systems " Perform small molecule purification using normal and reverse phase LC systems (Gilson, Waters, Teledyne ISCO) " Innovate and optimize purification workflows to support project timelines " Deliver purified compounds to support discovery and development pipelines " Interpret analytical data and apply findings to improve purification processes " Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve separation challenges Qualifications Education: " B.S. in Chemistry or related discipline required " M.S. in Organic Chemistry preferred Experience: " B.S. with 3+ years of industry experience in separation/purification OR relevant academic/industry experience " Experience in compound purification and separation sciences Skills: " Strong knowledge of analytical and preparative separation techniques " Hands-on experience with LC, SFC, and flash chromatography " Experience with Gilson, Waters, or Teledyne ISCO purification systems " Ability to generate and interpret analytical data " Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills " Strong collaboration and communication skills " Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Additional Requirements: " Must be onsite (no remote candidates) " Interview process includes virtual and potential onsite interview Why Work With Us?
