Cardiovascular Technologist - PRN

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is teaching hospital trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, and is home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma in Maryland, containing about 420 beds. Our Cardiovascular Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment which was recently renovated in January of 2021. We have many resources and cutting-edge equipment to take the greatest of care of our patients. As a Cardiovascular Tech you would assist physicians with the performance of cardiac cath related procedures including diagnostic studies and therapeutic procedures including Cardiac Cath (Right and Left heart cath), stent deployment for heart attack patients, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Insertion, Transcutaneous Pacemaker Wire placement. You would also be assisting with IVUS/FFR studies which are diagnostic studies to determine blood flow in arteries. You will have the opportunity to assist in Stress Testing proceedures and Nuclear Medicine studies. Minimum Qualifications: * Completion of an AMA School of Radiology Program * One (1) year of experience preferred * ARRT (R) or RCIS registration * BLS certification * ACLS required within 3 months of employment Shift: 20 hours per week Day shift 7:30am - 6:00pm 10 hour shift 1-2 calls in a week (6:00pm-7:30am) One weekend call per month (7:00am - 7:00am) Important Notice: * Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position. Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
