This is a generalist role with referrals primarily from Neurology, spanning neurodegenerative disorders, TBI/concussion, stroke, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular conditions, and psychiatric differential diagnosis. With 85% of employees recommending it as a great place to work, this isn't just a recruitment claim-it's a measured reality.What You'll DoConduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adult patients with suspected organic etiologies, psychiatric rule-outs, and complex diagnostic presentations.Identify, quantify, and describe cognitive and behavioral changes associated with central nervous system dysfunction and mental health disorders.Develop individualized assessment and treatment plans as part of a hospital/outpatient clinic multidisciplinary team.Communicate evaluation results clearly and compassionately to patients, families, and referring physicians.Contribute to the clinical and academic mission of the department, with opportunities for training, mentorship, and professional development.Who You AreRequired QualificationsDoctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, or a closely related field.Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology (consistent with Houston Conference guidelines).Active California psychology license (or license eligibility).Demonstrated expertise in adult neuropsychological assessment across a range of neurological and psychiatric populations.Pre-doctoral internship/training with experience in adult neuropsychology.Preferred QualificationsBoard certification (ABPP/ABCN) in Clinical Neuropsychology, or board eligibility with active pursuit.Experience in a medical center, hospital-based, or integrated health system setting.Experience with neurodegenerative disease assessment (dementia differential diagnosis, movement disorders).Familiarity with electronic health records (Epic experience is a plus).Track record of interdisciplinary collaboration with neurology, psychiatry, and rehabilitation services.Your Total RewardsThis organization invests nearly $9 billion annually in employee pay, retirement, and benefits.
